  • Weather can be unpredictable
  • Many ranger programs continue through early fall

Winter Season (December - March)

  • Limited road access (many roads closed to regular vehicles)
  • Snowmobile and snow coach tours available
  • Ranger programs available in:
    • Mammoth
    • West Yellowstone
    • Old Faithful area
  • Unique winter wildlife viewing opportunities
  • Spectacular snow-covered landscapes

Spring Season (April - May)

  • Roads begin to reopen
